A friend of mine is insane... He keeps going on about his insanely mad ideas about being able to travel across the atlantic ocean via a car using two hand fans to power it... Two hand fans because otherwize the car would just go round in circles... (And that would be crazy, wouldn't it?) It all started when I had to walk home from college with him (not school, college, the place where we are supposted to get a mini-bus back from...) and on the long journey our conversation got slightly weird, or averagely normal... Lots of weird stuff happened on the way back, like I believe a girl (no-one I know) tried to talk to me, then when I didn't reply she called me ignorant or something?? Uhh, whatever I guess... I don't normally talk to people I don't know as I walk by them... Other ideas my friend had were the small and cheap house (SACH) which I later suggested he called the Cheap And Small House (CASH) which seemed more approiate... Basically, we have a lack of houses... And if he made small houses that people could actually avoid to buy, that would be the way he'd get rich.. Reminds me of a Simpsons quote... "All my past get rich quick schemes have failed, but I know this will make me rich... and quickly!" which reminds me of a friend who collects simpsons toys (I think, he wont really tell me because he says it's nerdy...) Tuesday, 02nd October 2001 AD --- A day of many many things...

Today I updated my website, so that hopefully it works fine in IE4, which annoyed me before... I had to walk home... It took me around one and a half hours... My feet hurt! Then I got my hair cut... I still have long hair.. I just don't have to re-aadjust it all the god damn time... Oh well... Now it's short, but longer than a lot of other peoples... Heck, I doubt some people at school will even notice... And now torromow I have a day of no school in which I go to schol so that my parents don't know that I have no school... It's a bizarre concept really... I only (if only) have to be there for 15 mins in the morning but I'll stay there for about 3 or so hours... Depending on how boring it is... Last week I wanted to go home before 10am... Which means I was really bored before the end of the first hour... Oh well... The things I do to confuse my parents... I think I've got some virus on my pc... Damn it! This is what it seems to do:- Turn on "Hide file extensions for known types" and sets "Do not show hidden or system files" to true... in the folder options... Generally, this is just annoying, more than anything... Also I feel kind of ill.. Was the triangle thing annoying you? I'm sorry, but erm, I created a square game because I thought it'd be easier to complete? I was so... wrong! Thursday, 30th August 2001 AD --- 4 days (I think)

It's about 4 days before school starts again, and thus I wont have to work during the week, yay! But I might have to start working on Saturdays, and possibly the days when I don't have any lessons at school... So my plan, pretend I have school every day, whether I have it or not, and avoid work as much as possible. Like today... You see, yesterday the company I work for messed up, and thus, I get given a "get out of work free card" (imaginery card) and I used it within a day (I think it becomes invalid after 24 hours) so now I'm looking at say 2 days work before I go back to school... Uhh, holidays not relaxing enough... Need school... I went and ordered Make Yourself by Incubus, so I should get that anytime soon aswell... Finally, I've been thinking of making a help file system for sphere using the few sphere help files I have on my pc, heck it might be useful, I guess. Last year I had to pretty much pay for myself in terms of lunch money, so it's lucky that I didn't eat much I guess... I switched to the dvorak keyboard layout, it's funky! I'm at around 12.5 words per min... (Small words like "some" and "the", oh well) I guess it's neat though, I mean, I'm touch typing already... Thursday, 23rd August 2001 AD --- Uhh, stuff I forgot to mention...

Well, moving TV's around wasn't all that bad, but it went on for about 12 hours 8am to 8pm... Which means I'll get some overtime (they'll practically pay me 2 days wages, or 3 if I worked in McDonalds or something) but anyway, enough about the evil! (work) I got a "all news" script working, err, mainly thanks to sno though... Go figure...

Wednesday, 22nd August 2001 AD --- Ouch

I went to work at this factory today, where they print "a few" junk mail things... My job was too gently place them down when they came out of the machine into a huge crate... And in layman terms, throw heavy stuff downwards, repeat until pain sets in... This factory was somewhere where you have to be 18 to work at, but I'm only 17 and I really don't think they care about your age anyway... Skin fell of my hand; I got rope burns and my back hurts because its just impossible to work at that speed using the "lift with your knees" rule? But you wouldn't be able to do that by lifting with your knees because the stupid crate is in the way... And torromow I have to get up early to lug TVs around! Yay!? Also, one of the guys at the factory practically offered me a job there, and the other guy said I was better than that bald indian guy? Heh. Tuesday, 21st August 2001 AD --- ... stupid work

Okay, I worked for 11 hours and 45 mins the other day... The guy I was working with kept getting angry and shouted at me alot... Oh well, I guess that's what happens when I forget to take my bouncy ball to work with me? And today I worked at this factory, where I had to pick up these books and flip them upside down, then turn them around, then put them onto a conveyer belt...
