The alarm clock has to be one of the greatest things that I hate at this point in time..|
Don't wake me up in the morning, I'm not a morning person! I'm not even a split second in the afternoon person! So having to get up quickly to slide a dial from "on" to "off" before everyone in the house starts to get annoyed at the pulse beeping sound...
So really, I'd have to say it's a well designed alarm clock, so that's maybe why I hate it so much? Maybe I can try to modify it so that it beeps once to wake me up, then waits 15 mins to give me a small lye in then beep another few times and presume I'm awake after that?
I mean, it gets me up in time for breakfast? The stupid most important meal of the day... Each and every time I eat breakfast, I get hungry by 2pm, but if I skip it I wont get hungry at all? What good is breakfast doing for me? Giving me the ability to be hungry?!
I'd like to lose weight so skipping breakfast can't be that much of a bad thing, but then again I've skipped breakfast for years as a way of life... Then I'd skip lunch aswell for the majority of the time...
Say at lunch times, this conversation might happen:-
<them> Want to go with us to the shops?
<me> Yeah, I'll go with you. I wont buy anything, but I'll go with you...
It's like I wont buy anything, so the people at the shop must think I'm really weird... It's like, "Hey again", "Hey, erm, I'm just browsing again, I'll buy some food one of these days, I think..."
But recently my mum has started to give me lunch for school? ... She said "I'm fed up with giving you lunch money, you will have exactly the same as your brothers from now on" ...
Hrm, giving me lunch money once in the last year was too much work?!
I mean, she brought me an alarm clock (after trying to make me buy it with my money) just so that on occasions she wouldn't have to wake me up.
I get up perfectly fine on my own. Sometimes I might need a shove, but regardless, I get up fine.
Soon I'll take the driver's theory test, then the practical exam for driving, and there wont be any interaction with my family at all...
Damn them to hell, anyway.
Recently, what with the "terrorist" plane style bombings, that hit New York, I've heard so many people say things like this is the start of World War III...
It's not the start of any war. A war needs two things, a for side and an against side...
So far there is the US verses terrorism.
So they're fighting an ideal again? Like communism? Right... Making it a non urgent war? Making anyone who said things like: -
"We'll be drafted into the army" *so* stupid. I refuse to die for my country. I don't care how bad something is, throwing bombs and "lambs to the slaughter" at it doesn't solve a thing.
Talk to the terrorists, ask them why... Increase your understanding of why it happened.
"Hunt down and destory anyone that thinks different from us" or that threatens our cozy way of life.
These people hate you for a reason... The good old US of A isn't as good as you'd like to think they are. I mean, when those Americans died, in Afghanistan they celebrated.
These aren't evil people, yet they thought it was a joyous occasion? Essentially, when you think these people must be evil and therefore destroyed, you are worse than they could ever be.
Stop judging people all the time! Soon the alarm clock of life will sound and you'll die. Your body will be dead, and soon you'll be forgotten.
I don't think you should read too much into the media, because you've been brainwashed from the very start of your life. When the people jumped out of the World Trade Center buildings did they try to catch them?
Yes. Yes, on film. Catch the terror in their eyes as they fall, because it makes good tv for the news.
I can think of many things more evil than terrorism, politics, religion and the media for a few.
I don't really care for the people that died that day. It just became a statistic, I never heard a single name of someone who died.
Smoking kills more people, it just isn't shown on the news. Maybe it's because smoking is your choice? It's your right to kill yourself one by one, bit by bit.
I'm sorry if I seem insensitive, or mean. I just don't think it mattered that much. There's been a conflict of some sort in the world every single day within the last 100 years (or 1000 years or something, I can't remember) and just because the so called greatest is attacked, the whole free world is rocked?!
Ask yourself, did the deaths make you cry?
What bothers me more, the noise my alarm clock makes, the way I feel about the deaths of many... Sigh.
