forum up

Forums are up. Syntax hilighting and so forth are dead (sigh), but I'll work on those later.

Edit: It should be noted that the forums are and always have been backed by a MySQL database, as is most everything on the site.

Forums Deleted

Posted by: aegis on Thursday, May 08, 2003 - 01:28 AM
Somebody deleted all world-writable files hosted on SourceForge, which includes the sphere.sf.net forums. This has happened once before, and we were lucky SourceForge had a backup from the week before. This time, however, I think it's time to move a MySQL-based forum.

Forums Gone

Posted by: aegis on Monday, December 02, 2002 - 03:38 PM
Thanks to either a server screwup or some mischievous abuser of SourceForge's services, the forums have been erased. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if it's worth bringing them back until the SourceForge security issues have been resolved.

For now, just post comments on the stories as if they were forums.
