Sphere 1.0 beta 1 is out... It's not done yet (hence the beta label), but you can get it here.
Now here is what I want from all of you. :) Download it, test it, make sure your games work, etc. etc. (Our goal was to make a bunch of changes without impacting any existing games.) Find any last-minute bugs, needed feature requests, etc... and file them on the project page. Either periodically check the bugs you file or use a SourceForge account to file them so we get an e-mail conversation through the bug. I plan to do the final 1.0 release in 1.5 weeks. (Merry late Christmas, heh)
I don't have a list of changes yet, but I'll work on one for beta 2 so people can update their documentation. Then I can include all of the community-created help files and tutorials into the official release for everyone to see. These are great times for Sphere.
Also, we need a new title screen and/or startup game for Sphere. I'm thinking maybe a contest... let me know what you think.
